My approach
Cognitive behavioral Therapy (person-centered)
Healing through union
In cognitive behavioural therapy we identify imbalanced patterns of thought, action and feeling and find healthy alternatives to them.
I am also trained in the humanistic approach, which means that I focus on your personal experience and understanding of life rather than general parameters of what is good or bad.
To complement my work with individuals and couples, I also frequently use mindfulness, emotion-focused therapy and systemic therapy techniques.
A main goal of my work is integration. This means that we can bring conflicting parts of ourselves into harmony. In my work I invite people to accept inner and outer conflict and to learn from them.
Authenticity and diversity are important values for me, so all genders, sexual orientations, political inclinations, cultures and bodies are welcome without exception.
